Sales General Manager - Rotronics

Rotronics are looking for a new Sales General Manager to join their team on £30,000 with a chance to earn a favourable bonus. Apply before the closing date on Friday 12th January 2018.
 
Purpose:
 
Working within a small team to ensure that we meet our sales targets by attracting new clients and that existing clients’ business is retained and grown within Rotronics by managing the provision of account management services to them, thus ensuring Rotronics maintains its unique market position  
 
To support building the organisation and culture of the site to meet the strategic goals of the business with the emphasis on innovation and new & existing sales opportunities 
 
Main Objectives:
 
Make a significant contribution to the growth and success of the business by concentrating on new and existing sales pipelines and supporting problem solution, analysis and a range of training applications at our customers on a national level
 
Identify, implement & maintain your own set of new business/account management plans, seeking opportunities to improve our service delivery & brand and then lead the team to support delivery of all opportunities 
 
Ensure we deliver a consistently high standard of experience for our customers by building, maintaining & championing a culture of customer focus across the site supporting the MD in ensuring all resources are utilised effectively and costs controlled within the site budget 
 
Contribute to organisational transformation, participating in business wide change projects
 
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
 
Accountability for your own sales pipelines & the end to end activity involved within the sales process for both new & existing customers – identifying & researching potential clients’/decision makers, prospecting (to include cold calling), developing proposals and pricing solutions & reporting
Support the development of the site team to ensure Rotronics wherever possible exceeds, the service delivery commitments to all customers and clients. Working with other group businesses as appropriate 
Participate in regular effective team meetings, fostering employee engagement and the forum for continuous improvement
Responsible for developing and maintaining the CRM Sales database & associated sales processes
Responsible for championing, marketing, implementing and maintaining the ROBIS system 
Balance new product development initiatives/service delivery with cost to serve, remaining commercially focused at all times 
Support the management in the achievement of all site KPI’s taking appropriate corrective action as necessary.  Working with the Account Development Specialist in Planning and delivering the quarterly, monthly, weekly and daily deliverables for the site against agreed objectives
Interrogate the available MI to identify opportunities to improve performance and so the new product development initiatives/service delivery we give our customers and clients.  Production & presentation of appropriate management reports from SAGE/ROBIS, using site data to update the RO group (Executive/quarterly meetings)
Working with the MD in managing sales and marketing campaigns to include:- development and production of campaign mailshot lists, overall running of the company website i.e. posting activity/directing of requests & responsibility for organising and set up of trade events
Work alongside the MD to agree financial budgets, which are clear, concise and supported by valid and relevant information which emphasises the benefits to Rotronics & contributes to the delivery of business plans to optimise profitability and opportunities for business growth
Support completion of the tendering process ensuring draft and finalised contracts are compliant with relevant business requirements and complying with scheduled timelines
Ensure your sales strategy and activity develops and protects the Rotronics & our partners brand
Gain an understanding of each client’s individual contractual requirements through the term of their agreement and to support the MD to plan and prepare for client reviews.  Ensure that all sales related processes are carried out to the required frequency and completed as per business requirements
Adopt safe working practices in line with current Company procedures and to undertake appropriate training in Health and Safety
Ensure you have a personal current up to date Development Plan in operation at all times so that appropriate learning and development activities are undertaken for the role
