About the Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Administration to join us.  As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Administrators by overseeing the administrative operations of the business, as well as supporting with Rotech’s financial and strategic aims.  You will develop and maintain departmental and customer relationships by offering a superior customer service, building an embedded customer service culture, whilst strengthening brand values, with the emphasis on innovation.


As a key member of our team, you will:

  • Manage work schedules, ensuring these are fully in line with customer demands, allocating these plans to the team and monitoring and evaluating at regular intervals, in line with agreed practices.
  • Hold regular effective team meetings, fostering employee engagement and the forum for continuous improvement
  • Ensure the development and drafting of new documented operating procedures are initiated in line with agreed practices following discussion and agreement with the Operations Managers where appropriate. 
  • Manage administrative reception duties such as, greeting customers, answering visitors' enquiries about the company and its products or services, directing visitors to their destinations, sorting mail, answering incoming calls in a timely manner.
  • Keep the physical condition of the administration office and associated areas clean, tidy, and professional, raising any concerns to your line manager.
  • Be responsible for sales invoicing and credit control activities, ensuring the sales ledger and credit control databases are accurately maintained.
  • Be responsible for posting and reconciliation of cash in line with agreed practices.
  • Ensure staff carry out bank reconciliation and authorisation of BACS payments to suppliers in line with agreed practices.
  • Ensure accurate and regular filing of correspondence, both hard and soft copies.
