About the Role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to join us. Alternatively, an experienced supervisor looking to take the next step in their career development, may also wish to apply.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team in all warehouse and transport operations. This includes supervising all inbound and outbound distribution of products, overseeing the safe and accurate receipt and storage of goods and flow through of operations, service delivery in line with customer requirements, along with health, safety, and maintenance, and enforcing the Quality Assurance System to the current ISO90001/ISO14001 standard.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Managing the work schedules of the warehouse operatives to ensure daily orders are managed and processed effectively and in line with customer demands, allocating these plans to the team and monitoring and evaluating at regular intervals
  • Leading and overseeing all primary communications between suppliers and transport partners, building strong relationships with them and evaluating their service to us; ensuring continual development of this area at all times
  • Keeping in line with industry best practice, formulate, implement and continually review the warehouse operational standards, to include writing of training plans and supporting on training where appropriate
  • Ensuring the agreed warehouse processes and requirements are efficient, communicated, and carried out to a high standard and in line with agreed KPI’s at all times
  • Implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards, resolving problems as they occur; identifying warehouse system improvements and working to innovate at all times
  • Ensuring the accurate recording, monitoring and continual improvement of stock levels/warehouse items in line with agreed procedures at all times, liaising with internal customers to amend/improve so Rozone does not fail our customer promise
  • Responsibility for stock count/audit at year end
  • Maintaining physical condition of warehouse and associated areas by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
  • Holding regular effective team meetings, fostering employee engagement and the forum for continuous improvement
  • Adopting safe working practices in line with current Company procedures and to undertake appropriate training in Health and Safety.  Takes ownership for the operations Health and Safety meetings and ensures operation is compliant to GDPR data protection rules
  • Enforcing the Quality Assurance System to the current ISO90001/ISO14001 standard, planning and implementing procedures and systems to maximise operating efficiency.  Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard quality standards. Ensure that all internal audits are carried out and relevant actions carried out to provide CAPA for NC’s
  • Through a skilled team, ensure we deliver a consistently high standard of experience for our customers by building, maintaining & championing a culture of customer focus across the site and ensuring all resources are utilised effectively and costs controlled within the site budget against operational plans

For this role, we are looking for someone who has:

  • Proven track record of leading and managing warehouse/production teams
  • Working knowledge of SAGE/WMS systems and carrier consigning
  • Understanding of Cost and Financial Management
  • Manage and prioritise multiple projects to ensure timely delivery
  • Strong focus on Customer Service
