Regeneration at Shukers Land Rover, Aberystwyth

One year on from the acquisition of a long-running Aberystwyth vehicle dealership, Shukers Land Rover Aberystwyth has announced major new investment and regeneration at the site.

Cambrian Garages, run by the late David Stewart and his family was acquired by Shukers almost twelve months ago, together with the local Hyundai franchise.

The Hyundai franchise is relocating to its own custom-built showroom facility within Aberystwyth and the current building will see a total transformation to the latest Land Rover ‘Arch Concept’ showroom style, designated for all its dealerships in 2018. In addition, we will also see the creation of a dedicated Service & Parts Centre in Aberystwyth.

Aberystwyth Head of Business, Neil Parry, said: “We were determined to continue and protect the excellent reputation that the Stewart family had built up over the years and I think that we have certainly done that following regular feedback from our customers.

“We cover a huge area from Cardigan to Aberdovey and right the way across the Marches to the Shropshire border at Newtown and Welshpool, linking up with our sister dealership in Ludlow.

“This complete refurbishment of the Land Rover retail centre will be quite timely as it is just in time for the launch of the brand new Discovery Commercial vehicle, which should prove very popular with the large farming and commercial community that we serve across the whole of Mid Wales.

Neil Parry added: Neil Parry added: “We have already hosted highly successful launch preview events for customers, specifically for the new Velar range and have several other exciting vehicle debuts planned, including the eagerly awaited and all new Land Rover Defender model.”
