September 17, 2018

We’re pleased to announce that two businesses from the Rubery Owen Group have reached the finals of The Black Country Chamber of Commerce Awards.

Rotronics Battery Management Solutions has made it into the final three of the Best Use of Technology Award (sponsored by Dudley College of Technology). This award recognises organisations that have fully exploited the range of technology available to them and grown their business through this. Ken Clark, Managing Director of Rotronics, says: “We are delighted to be nominated for this award and it is a testament to all the incredible hard work, creativity and innovation of the Rotronics team.”

Rotech has made it to the final three of Small Business of the Year Award (sponsored by Casino 36), which recognises organisations with fewer than 50 full-time members of staff that have achieved consistent growth. John Cross, Rotech’s General Manager, says: “I am delighted with this nomination and our team well and truly deserves such a fantastic accolade.”

Colin Crane, the chief executive of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce said at the event “I would like to thank everyone who has entered, and I particularly congratulate those that have been shortlisted. I now look forward to what promises to be a very exciting and entertaining evening where we will find out the overall winner in each category.”

The winners will be announced at the annual awards celebration on Friday, November 9th, at Wolverhampton Racecourse.
